Saturday, Oct 6 - Fun with Uncle

Emily was being so helpful taking the towels to the laundry!
Uncle gave Emily & Brandon each a ride on his mower. (Emily & Brandon stayed with us from Wed evening until Monday morning.)

Emily & Elias await their turn on the mower in the back of the truck.

Uncle taught Emily how to be a real cowgirl with her thumbs in her pants...

Surprisingly, E actually likes this position...actually, he likes anything Daddy does.

After workday, we had told the kids we were going to take a nap. Uncle "couldn't get the door open" so he told them we would all have to just lay on the carpet that's on the front porch to nap. Emily promptly laid down for her nap, then wound up giggling after we did.

Friday, Oct 5 - More playing

I think our child has small eyes, what do you think?

I took this picture about 1 minute before I took the next one. E has really learned how to turn around in his exersaucer.

Thursday, Oct 4 - Playing with cousins, swimming

Emily & Brandon played with water guns in the backyard.

This picture's for you, Sara! Thanks for the adorable outfit and shirt! He's almost outgrown this one, but the shirt will last for a few more weeks at least.

Allison C had a pool party for some kids in the field. From L to R back row: Benjamin K, Elias, Brandon B, Emily B, Makenna K. Front row: Mason and Chase or is it Chase and Mason? I sure can't tell.

Tuesday, Oct 2 - Cassie's Birthday

Aaron took me hiking at the 360 bridge in Austin for my birthday, while Nana & Aunt Nena watched Elias.

Beautiful flowers my husband bought me.

Sunday, Sept 30

Megan (Cassie's cousin)

Saturday, Sept 29 - More at convention

The wind was bitter cold and fierce this day, so Daddy wrapped E in his jacket. Surprisingly, he liked it!

Cassie's Uncle Wayne & Aunt Ann

Steve & Cynthia (Cassie's cousin & her husband)

Elias enjoyed Ann & Wayne's camper...plus, all the people tired him out, so he could sleep so peacefully there.

Friday, Sept 28 - Convention in Kansas

The girls in the baby house loved Elias and were always asking to hold him.

Aaron took this picture of a windmill...although it's too dark to really see it.

E loves Uncle Wayne! (Cassie's uncle)

Elias also had quite a thing for Crystal Cronk (Cassie's cousin's wife).

The winds got up to 40 mph! It was enough to blow Elias over!

Aunt Barbara with Elias (Cassie's great-aunt). His cheeks were chapped from the wind at this point because he refused to have a blanket over his head.

Wednesday, Sept 26 - Going to Kansas

If there was a time date stamp on this picture, it would read 12:48 AM. We had a flat in the middle of nowhere in Kansas, luckily Aaron changed it pretty quickly, but we did have to unload the entire car to get to the spare! Oh what fun road trips are!

He was quite amused by his chew toy, though.

On Monday, we decided to go up to Bird City, Kansas for convention, in hopes to see my grandma. She couldn't make it, but we decided to go anyways. Here's Elias riding in the car, not so sure this is a good idea...

Sunday, Sept 23 - Cortez'

Cortez' twin boys are so interested in little Elias.

Saturday, Sept 22 - workday & Nana home from Taiwan

Elias was so happy that Nana came home from Taiwan.

Elias "helped" at workday...by playing in his bumbo and sleeping in the stroller.

Wednesday, Sept 19 - Meeting with Loren

Loren Q was in our meeting Wednesday night. Elias got to play with him a bit.

Monday, Sept 17 - Scooting

I'm now tired of trying to write in third person, so this will now be from "Mommy's" perspective. I laid Elias down next to the couch and came back 5 minutes later to find him like this. 5 minutes after that, I found him like the top picture. He's really learned to scoot now.
