Wednesday February 27 - Bathtime with Simon

The boys enjoyed a bath together before Wednesday night meeting. For some reason, it is the most fun to suck the water out of the washcloth!

Tuesday, February 26 - Four wheelers & silly boys

Daddy's invention to pull the trailer with the four wheeler...definitely saves his hand all the hurting of cutting tendons and surgery!



Aaron and I got to take a little four wheeler ride Tuesday night while Sara & April watched Lias.

Lias hurried over to see the exciting butter that Sara dropped from the fridge. Simon was in a hurry to check out Lias' feet!

Elias got himself under the couch and then tried to sit up...needless to say, it didn't work too well.

Elias learned how to nod his head "yes" and "no" now. We've been trying to teach him the sign for "more" (touch both hands together). Elias knows what it means since when I do the sign and say "more" he nods his head viciously. I don't think he connects the shaking no of the head to be "no," but he definitely knows what yes means.

Saturday, February 24 - Daddy's spiffy 4 wheeler & visits with Accola's

Here is (hopefully) the final result of a project Daddy's been workin on too long. I must admit, it looks really nice, but was it really worth Daddy being in the garage for hours on end?

Saturday, February 23 - Hanging out with Simon

Justin, Sara & Simon came to visit on Friday and stayed until yesterday (2/29). We miss them so much already! The house seems so empty. Elias and Simon had fun hanging out together.

Today 'Lias was using the storage bin to walk to the table. I tried to get it on video, but he thought it would be funnier to dance instead. I'm going through all his clothes and packing up what's too small. It's very bittersweet to see my boy getting so big...or is it just bitter?

Tuesday, February 19 - Dancin'

Okay, so I know that this probably isn't the best thing to teach a little boy, but my excuse is that he was being extremely fussy on Monday so I started teaching him to dance. It's quite funny now since when he wants our attention, he'll start to bob his head. Apparently Mommy looks pretty funny doing it because a guy came up to us in Chili's tonight and said "it's amazing the things Moms will do in public with their babies!" He's missing out, I tell you...I'm sure he's just jealous he doesn't have a little dancing Elias!

Thursday, February 14 - Falling asleep sitting up

Last night, I went in to check on Elias after he had gone to bed and he had fallen asleep sitting up! In all the commotion of getting the camera, he woke up before I could take the picture. Tonight, I was prepared with the camera when I went in to check on him, this is what I found. Our flash works pretty good since the room was completely dark when I took this picture. And he didn't even wake up! He did once I moved him to lay him down, but went to sleep without any crying, thankfully!

Saturday, February 9 - Four wheelin

On Saturday, to celebrate Aaron's birthay, we went four wheeling. We took the four wheelers to this pretty little creek where April took some really cute pictures for us. These are the ones from my camera; I'll post ones from hers later. Thanks, April!

Friday, February 8 - A mower ride

Daddy put these huge ear muffs on Lias today and took him for a spin on the mower. Needless to say, both of them enjoyed themselves immensely!

I had put Lias down for nap and was in the office working on the computer when I hear this horrid beeping coming from our bedroom. Elias had managed to shut off the monitor and the monitor receiver in our room was letting me know. What a naughty boy!
