Tuesday, September 23 - A Genius!

While Mommy was busy looking at books to check out, Lias grabbed this book off the shelf. I thought it was hilarious since it's titled "The Mozart Effect for Children." Yup, he's definitely going to be a genius. (I'm obviously kidding here, for those of you that don't know me well...)

Sunday, September 21 - A Working Four Wheeler!

Daddy found this four wheeler in someone's trash a couple of weeks ago. He finally had a few minutes to work on it and got it running today! Lias thinks it's the greatest thing! He made a toggle switch under the handle bars that you pull to stop and push to go. Lias has already figured out how to work it. Now, if he'd only learn to steer!

Saturday, September 20 - Another Hippo!

We went to Chilis with Granpa & Grandma H on Saturday (and Aunt Barbara!). Papa (as Lias calls him) put Lias on the hippo.

Friday, September 19 - A Normal Boy...

Leave Elias alone for 5 minutes while you THINK he's reading a book and this is what you get...

When we get new books from the library, Lias will just sit and look at them!

This is for all of you that are disillusioned into thinking that we have "a calm, perfectly quiet little boy." This reminds me of the video on Sara's blog of Simon just getting it all out.

After I took the first video, Elias went over and tried to turn on the music player. I turned it on for him and he had a good time dancing around. I love that when Josh Tnrner (the singer) sings "this world turns," Lias turns in circles. I'm sure it's concidence, but it sure is cute!

Thursday, September 19 - Grandpa Ben

We went to go see Grandpa Ben in the rehab center. Lias loved the wheelchair (and seeing Gpa Ben!). Look at that tongue!

Not sure what was up with the excessive gurgling this night, but...

Tuesday, September 16 - More mowing

(no, the blades weren't actually on...Daddy was just giving Lias a ride)

Monday, September 15 - Puppies

Lias thought it was hilarious to push Caramel around in his dump truck. Pretty much anything Caramel does is hilarious to Elias, even if she's just running away from him!

Saturday, September 13 - Drinking Sonic drinks...

Lori & Melissa: Here is your update...Hope you're happy. You could just come visit your little nephew. That might be more fun than me posting pictures and videos online.

Lias signs "water" like crazy when he sees a Sonic drink. Definitely not water in there, but we get the message.

Friday, September 12 - Hiding

Not sure what the goofball was doing here...

He's so silly.

Hiding behind the chair at Nana's.

Smelling the flower Aunt Nena got for her birthday.

Thursday, September 11 - More sillies

Lias decided to put a dishwasher Jet Dry thing in his ball popper, along with a lego. Surprisingly to him, they didn't pop up like balls! He ran up to me and said "uh-oh, uh-oh" and pulled me by the hand to come see his "uh-oh." And, yes, he made the huge mess in the office. What am I going to do with him?

Friday, September 5 - Watching Daddy go to work...

Thursday, September 4 - More Signing

Today we went to help Daddy return the backhoe he had rented for a job and dump some dirt.

Lias enjoyed "driving" the truck while Daddy unloaded the dirt.

Playing outside

We're learning lots of signs lately. Some new ones not included on these videos are "sleep," "kitty," and "help."

Wednesday, September 3 - A hungry little boy...

Lias has been bringing me what he wants to eat lately. Apparently, this time he didn't have the time to wait for me to help him...

Monday, September 1 - Shopping

Daddy lets Lias get things off the shelves and put in the basket. He's apparently a lot more fun to shop with than I am...

Saturday, August 30 - Our 4 year anniversary

Saturday evening, the three of us went to dinner at The Texan in Hutto. We also went to go see the Hutto Hippo.

Lias had pie, of course, at the Texan.

Saturday morning, Aaron and I rode horses while Lias stayed with Aunt Nena.

I'm so proud that my boy can say "cow." He's actually said it for awhile now, but I just finally got it on video!
