Thursday, December 27 - Crying

Elias has started this new cry when he's mad...kind of think he's getting an attitude already. It was funny when I took the video this afternoon, but it gets old pretty quick. When do they outgrow their attitude?

Wednesday, December 26 - Helping Daddy sing

Elias decided to help Daddy sing.

Saturday, December 22

On Saturday, the Hottell family had our Christmas dinner. Trenton enjoyed pushing Elias around the house in his stroller. Elias definitely didn't mind -- it kept him well entertained!

A silly Brandon...now you can see where Elias gets his silliness from!

Friday, December 21 - Getting into stuff, already!

Elias was on the other side of the room, but rolled over and found this sack of fun stuff under the chair. I can't believe he's already at the stage where he's getting into everything!

Thursday, December 20 - Another visit with Aunt Nena & Lorelei

This afternoon, I caught Elias playing with TWO pacifiers! He obviously put this one in his mouth, but has one in his hand as well. We're definitely getting attached to the pacifier. Not sure that's a good thing, but it keeps him happy, so we'll let it go for now...

Aunt Nena attempted to read Elias & Lorelei the same book. Neither wanted to share, so they ended up with each their own book.

Monday, December 17 - Books!

Sunday, December 16 - A fun tape measure

Daddy was having fun helping Elias play with a tape measure. Sure kept him entertained.

Saturday, December 15 - Cousins!

Emily & Trenton had a blast playing with Elias. Emily would get right up in Elias' face and when he would reach out to touch her, she would squeal "He's getting me, he's getting me!" So cute.

His duck face...when you don't have a pacifier, I guess your lip will do.

Friday, December 14 - A sick boy

Aunt Mel still has the touch.

Elias has been sick all week -- first a cold, then an ear infection. He was really good today, though and I caught this cute picture of him laying with his Pooh bear.

Tuesday, December 11 - An Off Road Magazine

Elias was being fussy one evening, so Daddy gave him an Off Road magazine to play with. Of course, Elias loved it.

Sorry these videos are so boring, but Lori has requested more videos...so these are mainly for her...don't mean to bore y'all to death, but must please my sister.

Saturday, December 8 - A wedding and silly soother

On Saturday, we attended Elias' first wedding. He put the pacifier in his mouth on his own...can you tell?

Thursday, December 6 - A fun playmate

On Thursday, Aunt Nena brought over one of the little girls she nannies for. Lorelei is one week younger than Elias and they had lots of fun starring each other down.

Tuesday, December 4 - Random pictures

We're really starting to enjoy bathtime. Elias has about 5 different bath toys, but the rubber ducky is definitely his favorite.

We won this horse at my work party at Dave & Buster's for Elias. He thinks it's pretty cool.

This week (Dec 4) we've really started to master the sitting-up thing.

Sunday, December 2 - Lunch with Klepzigs, Bradley Class Reunion

Jana, Brock and Brent

A neat trick...

The 5 babies from our Bradley method (natural) childbirth class.

Friday, November 30 - Playing

E had more fussiness on Friday. He spent the day chewing on a wet washcloth and whining. I did manage to figure out that he liked sitting in his highchair so I moved it around the house while I cleaned.

Today at HEB, the local middle school orchestra was playing. E got pretty excited, but we couldn't capture it on camera.

Monday, November 26 June & Joyce visit

Elias loved June.

He even gave Joyce some kisses! Too bad we didn't catch those on camera.

Saturday, November 24 - Almost home

E was actually very happy Saturday morning of the trip.

Friday, November 23 - Naomi

The only picture of Naomi that we didn't loose. Such a sweet little girl!

Thursday, November 22 - Thanksgiving Day

Looking down the mountain at the van.

Aaron took this picture through binoculars. Cool, huh?

Elias enjoying the sales sheets.

Wednesday, November 21 - Tombstone, AZ & Botanical Gardens

Wednesday we went to Tombstone, AZ. E loved this huge great dane.

Another attempt to keep E entertained on the long drive...

We went to some botanical gardens in Tucson on Wednesday as well. Aaron took the gorgeous picture of a butterfly.

Saturday, November 17 - Four wheelin

We found this huge pile of dirt near our house and A just had to try it out.

Naomi Carol

I've gotten lots of requests for pictures of my new niece, but unfortunately, half of the pictures we took in AZ (all of the ones of Naomi of course) went down with our computer that died this week. So, I've got a few old ones (she's a week old in these pictures) for now. I'll see if anyone else has any from our trip and post those later. Hope these will satisfy y'all for now...

A Newspaper

On Thanskgiving Day, we found that we no longer need to buy this kid toys! He found a newspaper and started playing with it. This kept him entertained for the longest time!

More rolling

Elias first rolled over the Friday of Georgetown covention (Oct 19) from his tummy to his back. This week, he mastered rolling from his back to his tummy. Exciting on one hand, on the other, it makes Mom anxious because not sure how I'm ever going to keep up with him! Pretty soon, he'll be everywhere. Even now, you put him on one side of the living room and he can roll to the other side in about 5 minutes. That part is not exciting.

More laughing

We went to visit Melissa, Doug & Naomi for the Thanksgiving. Elias thoroughly enjoyed their dog, Tex. Or, maybe he was just so happy to be out of the car after a 18 hour drive. Apparently, Naomi didn't appreciate Tex as much as E did.

Another laughing one

Tuesday, November 13 - A silly tongue

We only thought E had found his tongue before. Now, it MUST be sticking out (at full length) to play with anything. It seems that any time he's in thought, out goes the tongue. Uncle used to do this too, so that's a cute trademark!

Sunday, November 11 - A bath

Saturday, November 10 - Cereal

Aunt Nena brought over some twins that she sits for and they were giving the teddy bear a ride in the johnny jumper. I thought it was cute.

Silly expressions

We tried cereal again (we've tried it before) and it seems to be working this time! More sleep for Mommy and Daddy, so we're saying the cereal is now here to stay.

Elias waiting patiently while I tried on clothes in the store. This weekend, Moriah W came to visit and I got the opportunity to go shopping. So fun!
