Tuesday, May 27 - Talking

Lias is getting quite the vocabulary lately. His word of the week is "baby." He'll say it nonstop for 10 minutes straight! I believe we're ready to learn a new word. Other words he can say are "mum-mum" and "da-da." He will talk about Da-Da forever after Aaron leaves in the mornings. Lias has also mastered the sign for "more" and "all done." It's amazing how quickly my tiny baby is growing up!

Sunday, May 25 - A Play

We went to Zilker to watch a free play in the park on Sunday night. Lias loved playing with Auntie April.

Friday, May 23 - Swimming with Dad

We went swimming tonight at the neighborhood pool. Lias didn't appreciate the sun in his eyes, but other than that, loved swimming.

Elias found a screwdriver and a bucket and was seeming to "fix" the bucket by banging on it with the screwdriver.

Monday, May 19 - More Fun Outside

I took Lias outside to play and instead of playing on his playscape like he normally does, he headed for the fourwheeler that is normally in the garage. He played with it the whole time we were outside.

Saturday, May 17 - A Silly Daddy

Lias loves being carried like this. Actually, he loves anything his daddy does...

Friday, May 16 - Poppy's Visit

Brandon, Lydia and their new puppy, Poppy, came over Friday night. Lias loved Poppy.

Lias is really taken a liking to books lately. He will sit still for quite a while a look at them. That's amazing for this energetic little boy.

We've been taking advantage of the warm weather. Lias loves to play outside.

Today Lias had macaroni with bits of cheese. He loved it.

Lias loves to point at pictures books and "read" them to you.

Tuesday, May 13 - More fun with a car

Why open the door when you can go through the window?

Sunday, May 11 - A New Car

Grandma H bought this fun car for Lias. He's standing on the seat here.

You must have your tongue out to drive, didn't you know that?

For Mother's Day, Aaron took me and Lias to Saltgrass. Lias learned to color. He actually had quite a good time doing so until the waiter dropped the bread and a knife right on poor Lias. Thankfully, it wasn't too sharp and didn't hurt him.

Saturday, May 10 - Crawfish Boil

Miss Emily

Aunt Val got a beautiful new couch with a built in baby seat. Can you believe it? Too bad their kids are all too big for it, but Lias took a shot at it. This picture is espicially hilarious to me. It's like Grandpa is pushing him down into the couch.

Lias has finally accepted his fate that his parents are crazy.

Trenton teaching Lias how to play ball.

A close up of my baby boy...

This picture should make Grandparents T proud. He got the Dave Ramsey book off the nightstand and was reading it.

Trenton is so gentle and patient with Lias.

Thursday, May 8 - A Baby Rapper

Out of nowhere, Lias starts dancing like this. No music or anything. Guess he heard it in his head. Definitely full of energy, huh?

Saturday, May 3 - Concert in the park

Saturday night, Grandma H took Lias home and put him to bed while Aaron and I went to a Earl Thomas Conley free concert in the park.

Thursday, May 1 - More outside time...

Lias loves his little playscape that Aunt Val gave us.

Lias thinks peek-a-boo is hilarious.

Tuesday, April 29 - Another horse one...

Still getting into everything...

Lias rode his horse today. He thought it was hilarious to jump off.
